Founded in 1984, Good Shepherd School began with two classes and 22 children. Today, we have over 15 classes and maintain a regular student roster of over 300 students. We have school-year programs for children ages 1 through kindergarten.
In 2007, we achieved the highest honor of being an accredited education facility in early childhood development and have passed rigorous standards set by the National Association of Episcopal Schools, and the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.
The Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) is a member in good standing of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Commission on Accreditation. It has voluntarily agreed to abide by the Commission’s Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices and to submit to a thorough review and evaluation of its accreditation standards, criteria, and procedures. SAES is recognized by three state agencies and by eleven Episcopal dioceses within the six states served by the association.
Admission to Good Shepherd School is based upon available space and is unrelated to race, religion, color, national and ethnic origin and economic background.
